People who have chatted in Family Chat know that a 'nickname on the screen' is much more.
Behind every single nick, there is a person. As we spend hours, days, even years chatting…
we do indeed become intertwined with the lives of our cyber friends.
We cry together, we laugh together, we care together.

This page is Dedicated to the memory of our dear friends.

The channel was saddened recently with the loss of IsoSweet, Tracey to some of us
Mere words cannot do justice to our feelings but please take a moment
and pause in thought as you read these messages from her friends.

It's good to know that there are people like you out there in family chat.
That cared so much for Tracy. She was a special woman who cared about you
all just as much. This memorial touched my heart and brought tears to my eyes as
did all the kind words everybody told me in their e-mails. I miss her so much
but she will always be in my heart. Thank you for being such a good friend to her.

Tracy , I want you to know that I am going to really miss you and always keep you close to my heart. You were like a sister to me, we confided in each other alot when we had problems, no matter what they were. I'm going to miss the laughs, the jokes, Crying on each other's shoulders when we needed someone to cry to or talk our problems out.

I will hold all the memories that we shared together on IRC. For they were like reality to me, Not just two people meeting on a dumb computer just to chat.
We were TRUE FRIENDS. Friends that will never part or forget each other...

Iso is gone. That's hard to believe…

I first met her in 2000, when I stumbled into mirc and f_c…and stayed.
I remember asking her, very early on, "Why 'Isosweet'? and how sweet exactly is that?"
I remember she said "Very…I'm diabetic. ROFL!!!"

That was just so Iso. She had a wacky sense of humour, irreverent and funny. She reveled in her blondeness, invariably using it as an easy reason for Everything and Nothing... (remember /opnotice and all those gaffes we used to make?!) And she was always generous with her laughter and her hugs. Those who knew her, know she went through some hard times…but all of us, I'm sure, still remember how happy she was when she found Mark.

I went off mirc for a couple of years and only got back a month or 2 ago…and one of the first few people of the "old lot" I met…briefly…was Tracy. She sounded good, and happy, and busy, and her usual SoVeryIso self.
Can hardly believe she's gone.

To Mark, to her children and grandchildren: this is the sort of time when nothing can really ease the pain of losing her. I am truly sorry for your loss, and I know I'll miss Tracy, even more so every time I go back to F_C.
Rest in peace, Iso… love&huGGGGGzz always, loopy.
